Under normal circumstances the transceiver is able to comunicate from under the deck. We recommend that you check that position messages are sent on time through our web page www.yacht-control.com. Some typical barriers for the signal are bulheads and decks, specially if made of metal, as well as thick masts or places where people sit or lay. The GPS signal received by the transceived is never affected by the above.
Yes. The transceivers are programmed in such a way that even if you disconnect it from its power supply the internal memory of the unit will keep the initial frequency at which you programmed the unit.
The credits are valid up to nine (9) months from the date of purchase. Just by making a new order of any of the credit-packs listed you will update the expiration date starting to count from zero again. The remaining credits from the previous order will be added to those ordered later.
